
Project Overview
LemFi (Formerly lemonade technology) is a Financial Technology platform designed to provide immigrants with a way to send and receive money from home.
Through evidence based research, pain points and gaps were identified in LemFi official website, creating lack of trust between the user.
Design Process:
Conducted Website audit to identify UI gaps
Conducted Secondary research to identify user pain-points
Conducted competitor analysis to define unique positioning, best UX practices & Industry leaders.
Designed a minimal yet dynamic layout that reflected product target users.
Implemented responsive design for seamless desktop & mobile experience.
User Pain-Points
Website was non functional and app-gated
First time users found it hard to navigate the website
Slow response time from customer support. There was only one way to contact Customer service.
Inaccessible font and lack of text heirachy.
Product Thinking & System Design
Created systems that made the website functional; users can access their account from any device.
Creating a chat-box feature that gives users access to immediate support for navigation, account or general issues.
Adding visible accessibility features to enhance user experience.
Re-designed brand identity; Opted for clean legible fonts that are dyslexia friendly, changed the brand from playful to serious to match brand target audience.
Iteration & Validation
Users needs were validated through various testing and iteration at all stages of the design process.
Result:
The final designs validated customer frustrations, accessibility gaps and enhance navigation across digital touchpoints.
